Happy Mothers Day too Me....

So this year is a big year for my little family because my eldest son is getting baptized on July 3rd,2010!! I am so excited, as any parent would be in this situation. My son is excited as well and I am glad to hear that, otherwise I would be making him go scripture studies!!LOL!! I wanted to make this birthday a really big and memorable one for him. I had everything planned out in my head as to what we were going to do and what entertainment we were going to have. However do to certain circumstances that had accrued earlier this year none of my plans look to reassuring or possible. I felt myself start to get discouraged as I wanted to make a big deal about my son's baptism. Toa put a quick stop to that, as he helped me to realized that the important thing is that T.J is getting baptized and not so much that he has a big birthday party, or party for that matter. I excepted the fact I was not able to celebrate this special occasion as big as I would have hoped to, but as long as I could get my son prepared for his special day and a really good birthday gift that would be memorable enough. T.j always asked that we take him to Raging waters for his birthday in hopes that his cousins could join him as well. I was excited because I knew that this was possible and yet would still mean so much to him. So far as of right now, that is the plan unless our Bi-Polar weather stays this way. I always wish I could do more for my boys!! So of course me being me.. I was still trying to figure out something special I could do just for my son..that would be embedded in his mind and heart for years to come But what... Hhmmmmm......

Well today Toa and I had a meeting with our Bishop and found what I have been looking for for soo long. We would be able to give our son one of the biggest gifts money could not buy!! I felt like my prayers were answered. After so many years of over coming different trials both big and small, Toa and I were going to show our kids just how much we love them. We are going to be Sealed for all time and eternity on July 2nd,2010.

I don't think my boys know how much this will change our lives. But it will help them to understand the love our Heavenly Father had for us by providing us a way to stay together "FOREVER"!! Also how Jesus Christ made this possible for us through the Atonement. I love my kids dearly and I think this is one of the best decisions we have made as parents. I mean I understand that getting sealed will not mend all our parental and marital problems, However it would help us with realizing what is more important in life. I love my family tremendously and I couldn't of imagined another feeling more filling then this. I am so excited!! Okay well I have alot to do and thought I could share that information before I continue my chores and what not...LOL!!! I Love all my family and friends!!!:D I know Mothers day is coming up and Toa always tries to find something cute and simple for the boys to do or get me since they technically cant do it there selves... but in all honesty just the simple fact that Toa took this big step with me was more then I could have ever asked for!! Mothers day came early for me this year!!:D
