First Official Mothers day Gift!!!

So yesterday T.J brought home a "Mothers Day Gift" that he had spent the whole week making for me and it was absolutely beautiful and I loved it more then anything money could buy!!! I wanted to post a picture of it but my camera was dead so Toa ordered a new charger for me and I just received it last night. So I put my gift aside before I went to work, I figured by the time I got off the camera would be charged and then I could post a picture of it!! So everything went according to plans, I mean I got off, the family was sleeping and I went straight to bed as well!! When I woke up this morning I noticed broken sticks and gum drops everywhere!!LOL!! I was like WTH?!?! Then I looked on top of the washer for my gift,cause thats where i put it thinking they couldn't reach it there and this is what I found...

Yes it is still beautiful but just try to imagine this picture with about 15-20 more flowers!!LOL! I asked them who ate my gift and T.j admitted to eating the cookies but threw his brother under the bus for eating the gum drops!! Toa was laughing about the whole situation. He thought it was so cute that the boys actually didn't argue for it, instead they shared!!LOL!! Which is rare for my kids to do now!LOL!! T.j said he thought I didn't want it because after he gave it to me I held it for awhile and then put it down and walked away from it while telling his dad I didn't want it,But what I really said was I didn't want to eat it until I took a picture of it first. It was just all miscommunication and that happens!! I know T.J didn't mean to hurt my feelings but I'm sure his were hurt when he over heard what he thought my conversation was with his dad. I felt so bad and let him know that I love him and his gift or at least whats left of it anyway!!! I'm glad that this gift made everyone in our household happy in away!! T.J apologized after he realized what he and his brother had just done, but that wasn't until he finished eating the cookie that was melting in his hand!!LLMBO!! TJ is such a sweetheart!! I'm just glad that I was able to even get a glimpse and my gift one last time before the kids started eating it again!! Well I just thought I could share that story just because it reminds me of when I was that age and how excited I was to make my mom(dad) a gift knowing it was from the heart. Being a mother I realized regardless what my kids get me I'm going to love it!! Even if it was free!! Those are the best ones!! I don't know why I stress about mothers day!! Hopefully my mom is like me and feels the same way about getting genuine gifts from the heart as to materialistic gift!! Okay well I'm tired now so until my fingers touch another keyboard, I'm out...
